This car came from a big collection that I bought 5 cars from and this is one of them. Its a 1940 BUICK SUPER ROADMASTER with a CLEAR TEXAS TITLE and has the STRAIGHT 8 in it still with the transmission behind it!. The odometer reads 22,219. The back window is good but the others need replacing. The floor are in great shape but for some reason the car has rust on the upper parts instead of lower like usual. The lower part of this car on both sides is really straight and I see no rust except on the rear fender but the pass door is got some holes in it. The trunk Is fine that's just water from spraying it off and the outside also only has water on it,its not clear coated like it looks. Its a shame someone let it get this way but its still a builder and a really rare car to find and build. These don't pop up everyday and being a 2 door with the motor in it and a title makes it a awesome car. I thought it would make a awesome gasser hotrod to run at the vintage drags with just clear over the body with a straight axle. Looks like someone put a Chevrolet axle under the rear with leif springs and some newer rims which a metal set would look much better and I have a set that would fit you could spray paint and would change the way it looks. I might would sell them if your interested cheap. This car in hemmings motors would bring really good money to a collector I just don't want to mess with it if your looking for something EXTREMELY RARE to build or restore to original this would be a cool one and needs to go to a cool home. I got some helpful tips this is a ROADMASTER NOT A SUPER AND THERE WERE ONLY 3,972 COUPES MADE WHICH MAKES THIS ONE RARE AND SHOULD BE A 320 CUBIC INCH STRAIGHT 8 THIS CAR NEEDS TO BE REDONE BACK TO ORIGINAL !!!
