1998 Buick LeSabre Custom Description

I have a 1998 Buick LeSabre that has been sitting in my driveway for about a year that I've decided to get rid of. The vehicle runs, but the engine temperature gauge jumps around a lot, approaching max temperature regularly. I took the car into a mechanic a while back and he said it was probably a cracked head gasket (I think). I was told that if driven long term, the problem would ruin the engine, so I haven't driven it since. At the time, all four tires were pretty new/in great shape. However, apparently one has a slow leak as one tire has gone flat while sitting. Given these two problems, a prospective buyer should plan on having the car towed. Everything else mechanical is believed to be in great shape, but vehicle is sold as is.
I seem to remember having to put more oil in it once or twice, so it might have a very slight oil leak, but not enough that regular oil changes are insufficient to keep it full. There is a normal amount of minor wear/cosmetic damage to the exterior, but no significant damage to the body of the car. The interior is in need of a good cleaning, but otherwise has no damage.
I've had the car for about 10 years/70,000 miles. As far as I can remember, I only had one major issue in that time. About two years (8000 miles) ago, I was experiencing poor performance (trying to stall at red lights, poor acceleration). It turned out to bad engine coils. At first they only replaced 4/6, but when problems persisted they replaced the other 2 as well. The belt tensioner was replaced at the same time. Wheel bearings were replaced about 5000 miles ago, brakes were done about 7000 miles ago, and tires were replaced 15000 miles ago.
Again, scrap value is $240 (actual quote from junk yard), so there is very little downside for someone who wants to try to fix the car.
