1951 Buick Other Description

1951 Buick Super purchased new by my grandfather. Has been off the road and garaged since 1995, the last year I drove it. It was in good condition in 1995. Twenty-two years of inactivity have taken their toll (as they have on me, as well), but I believe that for someone with the money, this Buick is an excellent candidate for restoration. It's too nice to send to the junkyard.
If anyone has an interest, please make an appointment with me to view it yourself, or hire a mechanic in my area to come out and have a look. For personal reasons, I would prefer to sell to a private individual who will restore and drive this car. There are no photos of the motor because I cannot open the hood. But, as I said, it drove very well in 1995. Nothing has been removed or altered from the motor (except the battery). I just can't get the hood to open.
I will be glad to answer questions, to meet with anyone interested, or to supply additional photos, although I'm not sure what else I might take a picture of. It would do my soul good to see this car in the hands of someone who loves old Buicks (as I did).
Note that the title was changed to me when I purchased the car from my grandmother's estate (so, it's not a "one-title" car even though it originally belonged to my grandfather).
