Up for Sale is a Nice looking 1947 Cadillac Series 62. I bought from a gentleman a little over a year ago that had been sitting in his barn for several years. Things I have done to it since I have owned are as follows: New battery, new points, new distributor cap, installed a new freeze plug on passenger side that is located right behind starter. Starter is stuck due to having off for long period of time while installing freeze plug but is still in good shape, just got moisture inside is my guess, cause it worked before I took it off. Have had a carb kit installedand put back on. The radiator will need either fixed or replace as when I put antifreeze in it, itleaked out. Might be an easy fix. I have had the car running before I had to pull off starter to fix freeze plug. It was just for a short time but I have personally had car running. I don't know condition of transmission as I have not driven it. Interior is in ok condition no tears on seats, carpet in good shape no tears, door panels are worn from age, might want to replace. radio is taken out of dash but has some parts for it in trunk.Has a dent on front grill right in the center. does have scratches and imperfections in the paint, Car has been repainted by previous owner.Trunk lid has had handle removed butthere are some partsinside of trunk. Trunkhas been cut on by previous owner. See pics in listing.For what reason I don't know but, I'm just letting buyer know before bidding. I have found a listed rear trunk lid on ebay for$245 soit would be an easy fix.I have the right to end auction at anytime due to listed locally also.
