1957 Cadillac Fleetwood Description

Really hard to find 1957 original Cadillac 75 Series Fleetwood. 1 or 1010 built, this is unit 604 (based on serial number).
Has been stored indoor in dry Nevada for the last 20+years. It was running great when parked and the engine had been rebuilt not long before. We believe that with just a little bit of maintenance work, this Cadillac could be put back on the road in no time. We did not try to start it but the engine seems to be turning by hand (it is very big and heavy so it's hard to tell). We will advise to do a proper tune-up before attempting to start it anyway.
The car is pretty much all rust free save for a few very minor spots. It is extremely straight with no dent or trace of previous accident/repairs. The frame and under body is totally rust-free. The paint is older, there are a few tiny area where you can see bubbles but it is very limited. The interior is in great shape and believe to be all original, including the fold-down seats.
Tires hold air. Chrome is excellent all around. All the original emblems and parts are there. The only exception is that one of the rear tail lights housing is from a different year and the plastic turn signal cover are a bit melted on the driver side (as seen in the photo).
Windshield has a crack and will need replacement but these can be had for about $600.
It has factory airconditioningwhich obviously needs servicing but it's all there.
Title is clean, and it's a real original pink slip (pink color)! Please check with DMV for any fees, depending where you reside.
There are somerumours(unconfirmed) that this Cadillac was once owner by theGovernorof Nevada. It did win the first place in the 4th of July parade in 1990.
Car is located in Truckee, sold as-is where is. Going through a divorce and need to sell it unfortunately - those lawyers are really expensive. We're happy to help out with shipping.
Please look at all the pictures and let us know if you have questions, we'll be happy to help as much as we can. We would love for this car to be restored to its former glory and be enjoyed as much as we did.
