1976 Cadillac Eldorado Description

A great find. Original owner deceased and this perfectly maintained vehicle has continued to be stored under fabric cover in a tile-floored super-clean garage seen in the first set of photos. The widow decided to part with it recently and a previous employer of mine purchased it.The tires were 20 years old and so they have been replaced with new Hankook 235-75-15s, including the spare, and all wheels also got new correct brass valve stems and rubber gaskets. As best as I can tell, the only other items replaced in the past are the exhaust system behind the converter, and rubber maintenance items like wipers, belts, hoses, etc.The body and paint appear to me to be without flaw, original, and unrepaired/unretouched in any way.The interior is immaculate in all ways; lights and gauges function correctly as do windows and door locks. Carpet protected by several layers of additional carpet and mats. Mothball odor present. No rodent damage seen anywhere.THE ONLY FLAWS NOTICED CONCERN SOME CRACKING (DUE TO AGE, NOT IMPACT) OF THE PLASTIC FENDER AND BODY EXTENSIONS IN THE BUMPER AREAS. AND THERE IS A VERY SLIGHT CONTACT OF THE EXHAUST PIPE TO THE FLOOR DIRECTLY UNDER THE PASSENGERS LEFT FOOT RESULTING IN A SLIGHT TRANSMISSION OF SOME HARSHNESS/VIBRATIONS ON OCCASION LIKE UNDER BRAKING. THIS WILL BE LEFT TO THE PURCHASER TO REMEDY. BETTER TO SELL AS IS.In the trunk in their original unopened packaging, are 2 sets of complimentary Cadillac golf tees with mention of the 1977 Master's Tournament. The entire undercarriage has been meticulously undercoated, seemingly at purchase or very soon after.Fuel lines, brake lines, parking brake cables, everything besides the exhaust is rust-free and resembles showroom condition. Brakes are visually fine and functionally very good. Trans shifts smoothly and strong. Engine has a slight rough idle like one would expect from an aged ignition system, especially ignition wires. I feel a good tune-up is in order.Runs and rides like a Caddy should out on the road.NO REPAIRS OR MODIFCATIONS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED BY PRESENT OWNER, OTHER THAN THE ABOVE MENTIONED TIRES. SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS.OWNER HAS THIS CAR FOR SALE LOCALLY AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PULL FROM AUCTION UP TO 1 DAY BEFORE CLOSE, OR SATURDAY THE 30TH.PAYMENT IN CASH OR CASHIER'S CHECK, PLEASE.
