1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

Beautiful California car frame-on restoration with about 1000 miles driven. Chrome and stainless all re-done and polished. All power options: seats, windows, trunk, antenna. Wonderbar, cold factory original a/c with idle-up solenoid – all working. A few issues to note are the windshield squirts are not working, although all there, the auto headlight dimmer is disconnected so it doesn’t hum when the headlights are on, and a small transmission drip has been noted recently. Most areas of the car are either new or restored, including the suspension, steering, engine, transmission, exhaust, brakes, carburation, tires, etc. Most of the glass is original with all new seals. Interior finished in all top grain leather in original pattern mono-toned. Exterior base/clear black is a “one-footer” looking amazing in any light displaying pure, undistorted reflection. Undercarriage has been blasted and painted satin black and looks new. The trunk has been finished with new trunk board in original style tweed pattern throughout. The car rides 4 inches lower on Kelsey Hayes wheels and new Goodyear radial wide whites. Stock exhaust minus the resonators correctly running up through the snorkels in the bumper ends. The car was done to my taste and preference, so please don’t point out originality differences such as the polished radiator or the polished master cylinder, to name a few. I would welcome you to come to Portage, Michigan to view the car yourself or send someone you trust to look it over carefully. It’s a show stopper but it’s not been a trailer queen as we try to drive it as often as possible. Both our cars have been used in our kid’s weddings and just this past week in another friend’s wedding, but after 20 years of ownership and restoration, it’s time to focus on volunteer work and our grandkids.
