1973 Cadillac DeVille Description

For sale is a 1973 Cadillac Deville Sedan (pillar less 4 door). It has about 57,000 original miles. I bought it off the original owner who was an old man that pampered the car. I bought it in 2011 and since have put some work into it. Before we begin Id like to remind you that the car is almost 44 years old. Not everything will be showroom perfect. This car is one of the "Detroit Dinosaurs". Its enormous. They simply don't make them like they used to. It has a 7.7 liter 472 cubic inch V8 in it that runs flawlessly. I had the carb professionally rebuilt and had an electronic ignition put in it to eliminate those pesky tuneups that require timing adjustment. The timing is always on point. I put a bigger radiator (4 core) in it along with a stronger fan blade to avoid overheating because lets face it, these cars would overheat in traffic on a hot day with the AC on. I also replaced the gears in the rear end with stock quality GM gears and new fluid. Belts are all fairly new. The driveshaft was balanced and re installed while the rear end was done professionally. Muffler was also replaced to stock OEM specs. The tires are white walls that have plenty of tread and ride smooth. Oil was changed regularly and the car was ALWAYS stored inside in my heated warehouse. The A/C blows ice cold and the heat blows hot. The interior is MINT and completely flawless without a rip or tear anywhere. It still smells like it did when it was new. Power everything and everything works as it should. I even had a simple remote power lock opener installed (driver door only) so you don't have to use the key every time to unlock it. It also has an aftermarket radio (Kenwood) installed under the dash on the passenger side tastefully along with better speakers in the rear. Now for the bad: The car could use a paint job. That's it. Even the paint isn't horrible but I like my cars perfect and never got around to it so it was never painted. That's the only flaw. The white vinyl top is still in great condition. When all 4 windows are down there is no pillar separating the front from the rear, it's just 1 big opening which is pretty cool. This car is TURN KEY ready. I am including original rubber mats, original spare, owners manual, and big shop manual from 1973. If you are looking for a classic beautiful car that floats down the road in pure class then this is it. I bought a Hellcat Challenger so I simply don't need this car anymore.
