1961 Cadillac DeVille Description

I bought this cadillac 2 years ago, so I could drive a classic while working on my 60 cadillac. The milage is unknown as the odometer is stuck on 43,500 miles. Has an excellent running 390c.i engine with great shifting 4 speed hydromatic (has a leak but not enough for me to repair). The paint is a little rough up close but looks good at 15 feet. Interior has some broken seams and fraying. The dash is in great condition (no cracks).Some things that were replaced by prior ownersprings front and rear, u-joints and carrier bearing, brake lines and hoses, brake shoes w / rebuilt master cylinder and wheel cylinders, fuel lines.Items I replacedtires, points, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, filters, oil change, rebuilt carb and fuel pump.All gages and lights work. Heater fan blows but heater core is disconnected due to leak.Wiper motor needs repair. All power windows and antenna go up and down. Has a panisonic am - fm with remote.Body has had some repairs. Bumpers are solid with some pitting. All stainless is on the car and is in good shape.Overall a good driver quality car.
