1974 Cadillac Eldorado Eldorado Description

It is with a heavy heart I must part with this car. I thought I would have enough money to finish my 69 Camaro and keep this. With a wife and two kids I've realized I cant. The Camaro takes precedence. I bought this car 1 year ago from my good friend who's father owned this car for over 30 years. This car has been in my name, on the road for six months. I've put more miles on this car in six months than I've put on my Camaro in the past 10 years. This car is a neck breaker and a FUN car to drive. With a new set of tires this car can be driven across the country. Nearly EVERYTHING on this car works. The only things that don't are the power locks, power antenna, (not sure about the AC as I haven't charged it. We're just getting over winter in NY). I have TONS of spare parts that go with the car- extra electric top motor ( the one in the car works great) I have several sets of door panels (front and rear) extra dash pad, upper and lower grill, extra marker light/blinker, 3 extra convertible boot covers, 6-7 extra hub caps, The trunk was loaded when I opened it with spare parts and trim etc... I can send pic's if interested about spare parts. It has 1976 front door panels as these are in great shape and I like the style way better. I do have original grab bar type panels. (needs repair though). This car was never in NY DMV records as my friends father was a car dealer and this was his personal car. The underneath of this car is GREAT!! Probably the most solid 74Eldorado in the northeast. It does have a very small oil drip. Looks to be from where the fuel pump bolts to the block. The top has one small tear in the back closest to the trunk as you can see in the pic. I had the car recently professionally detailed. The paint shines great. There are many flaws in the paint but it still looks good from 5+ feet away. Paint is good for a daily driver. This car can be driven as is for 10 years or so then add some fresh paint and redo the seats and your looking at 30K +. I have a feeling in 10-15 years these cars are going to sky rocket in value. They've been on a steady climb. I truly wish I could keep it. At 20+ feet long there isn't much room in the garage. Power seat work great and I have all spare motors off another seat. 8 track still works! Bumpers are pitted as with the chrome. (comes with age) All power windows go up and down with ease. I put all new bulbs throughout the dash and got all lights and gauges working. All door and under dash lights work when the doors open. All Cig lighters still work. Car wiring harnesses are great and unmolested. The interior does need some work if you want mint. Front seats could use new covers. I found a local seamstress that told me $500 and he would redo the front split bench with the armrest. It does have an exhaust leak. Sounds like manifold gasket on one side. Not too bad though. This car is a great daily driver with SO MUCH potential. I'm located in upstate NY 40 min west of Albany. I reserve the right to sell this car locally. Please contact me if you'd like to come see it or would like more pic's and info. I described this car to the best of my ability, so please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

This car goes down the road smooth and pin strait. The disc brakes work better than most cars I've ever driven. This car doesn't pull, tug or yarn AT ALL when driving and stopping. This is the first this car has been for sale and advertised in over 30 years. This is your chance to own a REAL AMERICAN MADE CAR. Designed by Americans, built with American hands with American parts. The car shifts like a dream. I just put a brand new radiator in it. I have original (can be repaired, small leak).4 tires and an alignment, you can drive this car ANYWHERE. Also has a brand new battery. Again, any questions please feel free.
