In 2007, we purchased this 2007 Cadillac DTS and we have loved it ever since. As an older couple, we needed a new SUV so we can sit up higher and have just purchased one… so we are selling our 2007 Cadillac DTS.
Current Condition: GOOD
Kelly Blue Book Estimate (private party): $5,178
This vehicle has been garaged since Day 1 and has just over 82,500 miles on it. Extensive service records have been kept for this vehicle. We purchased this car and have had this car serviced on-schedule at the Cadillac Dealership’s Service Center since its purchase (not at JiffyLube, Midas, and other 3rd party companies). The Cadillac was under manufacturer’s warranty until 36,000 miles and has been covered by an extended warranty ever since that time. The car still has a warranty that is transferable (the warranty is optional, since we can get a refund for the remaining unused portion).
The car includes all the features one might expect in a Cadillac – leather seats, strong V8 engine, OnStar Capability, etc. Tires have plenty of tread (they are less than 1 year old). Call for any further information, to see the vehicle, to test drive the vehicle, or to make an offer.
As with most cars you’ll find in NYC, there are some scratches on the bumper from parallel parking. There are also some light scratches on the driver side door (see photos).
We are located in New York City. We would prefer a personal pick-up, but we will be happy to work with a shipping company if you are far away. You’ll have to arrange that, though.
I encourage you to send any and all questions our way. We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
Note: As we are actively listing this vehicle in other places, we reserve the right to end this auction and sell the car off of Ebay.
Information About the Warranty
The warranty covers a lot of components. In brief, it covers the following:Narrative About the Transferable Warranty
As you contemplate the warranty, keep in mind that you can only get an extended warranty while the car is already covered. If you choose not to take the warranty, you won't be able to get this comprehensive warranty. We paid $3,999 for the warranty and it extends until March 2020 or until 122,000 miles are on the odometer. According to the warranty company, we have used about 39% of the time which means we're eligible for approximately $2,300 refund for the unused time. Knowing that you can't get this warranty if we cancel it, we will be happy to negotiate a decent price if you want it transferred to you. Remember, you're bidding on a 10-year old vehicle. The warranty will give you that extra layer of confidence that you're getting a car that will be covered if any covered component breaks, goes bad or stops working within the warranty period.

Buy It Now (Trade-in Price + approx. $1,000 for the warranty) = $5,100*
* If you choose the Buy It Now option, you will be buying the car at the trade-in value and receive a warranty valued at $2,300 for just $1,000.
** The warranty requires a $25 or $50 transfer fee. This is required for the warranty to be transferred into your name. As we're taking a loss on the warranty, you should be prepared to pay this fee. You can pay it directly to the warranty company.
Transmission Information
The CarFax report shows that the car had transmission service in 2016. This was a minor issue. We had the floor shifter assembly around the transmission replaced. The replacement cost just $252.12. I wanted to mention this so you would not think this car has a rebuilt, replaced or bad engine.
