1972 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. 109k miles. Unrestored Barn Find! Original
1972 Cadillac Eldorado Description
You are buying a very nice original '72 caddy. It is not a show car, but it is much nicer than the ones you see for $2500/$3500! I've owned several of these, and this would make a great daily driver, or restoration candidate. The top goes up and down easily, and latches firmly but usually takes 2 people. I don't think the dial thermostat works. The original paint is faded as is the carpet. The seats are worn and could use a good cleaning, and/or dye to make them white again. All the power windows work, but the rear ones require a little guiding (which is very common on these older convertibles). The engine runs strong, and has a new carburetor and tune up. I drained all the fluids and replaced one month ago. The tires and brakes are in excellent shape. All the bulbs work except the bottom part of one of the brake lights. When I first starting driving it, it backfired really loud a couple times, and blew a hole in the exhaust. It's not loud enough to get pulled over, but it is definitely noticeable. I would drive it just like it is, and maybe work on cosmetics next winter. I would put the value between $5000 and $7000 depending on what you're looking for. It's not a show car, but far from what I would call a project. This car is for sale locally, so this listing may end early. Please ask questions before making an offer, or call (269) nine nine eight 2812. Thanks, and good luck!
