1960 Cadillac Coupe Deville SURVIVOR Loaded Factory Air Runs & Drives RARE
1960 Cadillac Coupe De Ville -- Description
Up for auction is a barn find 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that is a true survivor that is running, driving and braking. This car has been sitting for years, and has some Florida rust but is surprisingly solid in the important areas. I have a clear florida title for the caddy. The doors shut perfectly, they really close like they would've on day 1. The power windows are operational minus one rear window. The car came equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, auto dimming headlights, signal seeking radio, air ride, and factory air conditioning. Most everything is hooked up, not everything works since the car has been sitting for more than 15 years. The car rolls pretty easily. The radio still works!!! even with the foot seeking button. The exterior lighting works. The horn still works. Amazing how complete and functional this car is. The bumpers and trim are in amazing condition. The stainless trim is complete and not dinged up, a couple clips are missing from passenger side rear body side molding. The bumpers are NOT rotted or all dented up, they are good driver quality bumpers or excellent cores for rechrome. The body is solid in areas but as I mentioned has florida rust, top down rust/rot. The top of the trunk below the rear window is the worst, as you can see there are holes through the sheetmetal in the back. The trunk lid and also the hood are rusted badly, which is a pretty common area for these cadillacs. The front driver floor pan is rusted through but as you can see underneath the floors and rockers are really really solid and clean, not even undercoated. The rockers are solid as a rock and so is the frame. Please review all the photos, there are almost 100 posted. This would be a great car to restore, or get running and drive it as is with new tires, brakes, etc.. it has patina that can’t be replicated easily.
