1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Description

93 Fleetwood 93k

1993 Cadillac Fleetwood base (not Brougham package though same body/frame/motor) with 93k miles. Lifelong Florida car - same owner since 1998. No body rust, decent paint, and super nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and most of it works - cold a/c, PW, PS, etc. Powered provided by its original 5.7L Chevy throttle body injected (TBI) 350 V8 engine (L05) and 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission, which provides a decent balance of power and fuel economy. Delivers 16 mpg in townand 23 highway mpg, which is pretty good for a car this size. Car is far from perfect - many minor imperfections - please view pics carefully and read full description. Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Leaks a drop a day of power steering fluid. New battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong.
TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors.
EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with a few small dings, dents and imperfections. Paint: Paint is in good shape. No accidents per Carfax, but some body work on left rear quarter is evident. Small cracks in paint along body seam on roof. Driver's side mirror paint is faded. Some minor imperfections but looks good. Other: Lower stainless cladding trim is all present and in nice shape with some small dings. Plastic trim on both bumpers have some cracks. Trim piece around right front window is missing in pictures, but I have one and will install when sale is complete. Windshield and all other glass are good. Undercarriage is extremely nice and solid with minor surface rust - see the pics of undercarriage. Aluminum wheels in nice shape with minimal curb rash or damage.
INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in good shape. Has some dash cracks and the driver's seat/armrest show some wear. Carpets and headliner are good. Remaining seating areas are in nice shape, and rear deck carpeting is nice. Presentable interior.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The only thing not working is the radio (because of that, I can't verify if the power antenna works). All other power options work including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, intermittent wipers, rear defrost all work. *A/C works but compressor is noisy.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely! Steering is tight, alignment is good with very slight pull to right, and suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 30% tread remaining front, 60% remaining rear, on two matched pairs of good quality radials. Solid exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives nicely - drive anywhere.
