1972 Cadillac Coupe DeVille-Fresh Paint-A/C-Power Options Function-Modern Tunes
1972 Cadillac DeVille DEVILLE Description
The vehicle has a clean Florida title in my name. I bought this vehicle in August of 2014 with 87,859 that now reads a shade over 88k.
I took the car down to bare metal and did class act paint job done right.
The paint on any car is always important, but more so in a state like Florida because the sun and salt will beat the heck out of cheap paint jobs. One shot isn't going to get the job done. Also, black paint is especially difficult because if it's not done right then you'll be lucky to get two years out of it before painting it again. The vinyl top is in near perfect condition.
Now, I can tell you the vehicle has zero rust, zero bondo, factory A/C that blows cold, and all power options including cruise control, windows, seats, and gauges are functioning.
The engine is a strong running 472 that was just tuned up. It has new plugs, wires, battery, carb, and four brand new tires. The 472 ci V8 is the original engine, and it's been properly maintained. Every mechanic that's checked out the engine and has driven the vehicle has been impressed with the engine's performance. It accelerates smooth.
The interior is in great condition, but I don't think it was originally Black with Tan Trim. The glass is good and the chrome shines. The trunk is solid, and there's no rust underneath. I've maintained the vehicle and stored it out of the elements. It has 4 new tires, and it has never been parked outside.
Options are power eight way seat, power windows, power door locks, tilt steering wheel. All interior wood trim is just like new. Exterior stainless trim and all chrome. There's no shortage of Cadillac's on the market, but 2 Door Coupe's aren't always available. I encourage you to do some research and compare with other 2 Door Cadillac DeVille Coupe's. You won't find one priced as fair as this in this condition.are priced much higher, than I'am asking.
I have a special connection with Cadillac's because my grandfather owned a dealership. I have many fond memories as a young boy spending my summers at the dealership. Today, my hobby is tracking down the vehicles sold by my grandfather and collecting and restoring the ones I can find. This is one of those vehicles... I'm selling because my HOA has threatened a lawsuit for having too many vehicles, and my warehouse is full. Time to sell $9k OBO.
