1967 Cadillac DeVille Description

1967 Caddy - I am the 2nd owner ( as far as I know ) and have had the car for 13 years. I bought her from an old lady in the midwest after seeing the car in Hemmings and drove her back east.
She has been garage kept and well cared for. I gave her an $8800 panels and doors off paint job 6 years ago. The guy did a good job and she turns heads everywhere I go.
This is not a show car.... it's a driver. The canvas roof is trashed, ( it was toast when I bought it ) but I never used it unless I was golfing somewhere and got caught in the rain and needed to get home. The metal frame underneath works fine and raises and lowers the top, but the top has a ton of holes etc... There is a tiny rust spot near the drivers rear wheel well. Its a small bubble that you can not see unless you are really looking for it... but I am letting you know.
The interior looks to be original.. its fine to drive in and all 6 of us pile in for ice cream etc, but if you want perfection you will need to redo the seats. They are a black Velour type material now with some fake-ish looking leather that has cracked in a few places.
The chrome on the whole car is decent.. but not show quality for sure. The car looks amazing from 10 feet away but close inspection reveals flaws.
My kids are getting older and I spent all last summer driving to sports stuff, and I upgraded the boat which I spend all my free time on now. Basically, this rig has turned into a little used toy that does not deserve to just sit in my garage. I drive it to work in the summer sometimes ( 28 miles ) and it absolutely hauls the mail. Idles at 75 on the Merritt Parkway and crushes the back roads. Starts on the first turn. I have had her innards lubed and tuned every Spring when I take her out and every Fall when I put her away. Fully inspected etc.
I don't know anything about cars.. but I know I had a lot of fun in this Cadoo. I am sad to see her go, but just have too much on my plate chasing 4 kids all over the place and new sport fishing obsession. I hope to sell her to someone who appreciates the head turning style and classic lines of this awesome machine.
I have taken pics to the best of my ability with my iPhone. Serious buyers only please. Please don't waste my time if you want to "negotiate" or mess around after you purchase. I am selling a cool toy, not flipping cars or paying the mortgage etc ....
Ok -that's about it. Shoot me an email if you have questions.
