1965 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

1965 Chevrolet C20 3/4 Ton Pickup Truck - MUST SEE! Condition: Pre-Owned

This is a very nice 1965 Chevy C20 3/4 truck with 91k original miles. 283 V8, manual transmission, starts/runs great - well taken care of! Recently serviced - new fuel pump and fixed a minor exhaust leak. Got a clean bill of health with no major mechanical issues. Starts right up!! Lots of chrome. I believe the front grill / front headlights are from a 65 GMC. Engine has been rebuilt but I don't have the exact date or mileage on the rebuilt engine. Nice aftermarket Kenwood stereo. Diamond plate lock toolbox. Custom paint with hand painted pinstripe scrolls and hand painted "Chevrolet" on the tailgate. There is a few paint issues which have been touched up around the body. Majority of the chrome is straight but some has a few dents here and there as photographed. Again, something hard to notice. No dents on the truck! The body is nice! The rear end has a very small leak. The wood in the bed has some weathering a few areas raised up. It is still nice but will need to be replaced eventually if planning to do a restore. The wheel wells appears to have some denting on the top of the wheel wells. My dad was about to restore the bed.
Just a little back story on why this truck is even getting sold. It belonged to my dad who recently passed away in July. He was in the process of restoring this truck. I'm forced to sell it because I have bills of his to pay and honestly don't have room for it. It's now being stored in doors at a new local classic car dealership called Crown. I will do my best to answer questions but I can't tell you I know this truck from the ground up. Mechanically, it's sound according to my mechanic who previously restored a 1967 Chevy C10. My dad has always had early classic trucks and cars which he took great care of. This truck runs like a champ and is solid overall so I'm pricing it to sell. He really only drove it in the cooler months as it has no AC (maybe put 300 miles/year on it). The fan blower/heater/defroster work great. Since this truck is now at the inside storage facility, taking additional pictures will be tough to do in a timely manner.
Here is a video of a cold start. The truck hadn't been started for 2 days. I wanted to show how well it starts and runs. Youtube Video of Truck Starting
Clean title and stored under car port when not driven.
Please ask questions prior to bidding and I will promptly respond!
