2006 Chevrolet Impala SS Description

This vehicle belongs to my 76 year old father-in-law (I am selling it for him). He has owned this vehicle for almost 7 years. Never smoked in, and no accidents (not aware of any accidents prior to him purchasing the car either). He makes frequent 2-3 hours trips to see relatives, and wanted to downsize to a smaller car for economy, and get something newer with less miles. He just purchased a "new" car, but the dealer was ridiculously low on their trade offer so I suggested he sell it here. His losscan beyour gain.

Vehicle is in good condition and ready to drive anywhere. It has normal stone chips in the front from road debri over the years, and a few marks from doors/shopping carts... typical for a 10 year old car. Has a stone bruise in the far upper right corner of the windshield (not in the wiper area, and still legal for state inspection in PA - had it repaired, but the repair material recently came out). There is a small crack in the front bumper cover, about an inch long, running right along the license plate frame where someone backed into itparallel parking (unless you know it's there and are looking for it, you don't even see it). Interior is in excellent condition. All options work. Has the intermittent V-8 (cuts out cylinders when power is not needed to increase fuel mileage... last long trip averaged 28mpg). Transmission was rebuilt approximately 18 months/20k miles ago. A lower rear control arm was just replaced a month ago, and a 4 wheel alignment done (Front tires are about 40%, rear tires are about 20% with a little wear on edges due to the previously mentioned alignment issue. He planned to move fronts to rear and put a new pair on front for winter). Recent tuneup. Car has been well maintained, always gotten anything it needed and oil changed at suggested intervals.

Kelly Blue Book lists the trade in value from $2126-$3447, and private party seller value at $4096. Reserve is at the low end of these numbers, or use the buy it now option so you don't lose out!
