This Gorgeous frame off restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is the apex of 1950s styling incorporated into an extremely rare and desirable package that includes the 283 c.i., with rare factory ordered AC not an aftermarket under the dash unit. Fully restored for the past 5 years to an extremely high standard, this Bel Air is being sold out of an impressive private collection. Since restoration, this American icon has been stored in heated showroom conditions and maintained the way it should be. Restoration work included taking the body down to bare metal, performing high-quality body work, repainting, and adding new upholstery and a top. every nut and bolt has been turned. This is as close to a new 57 Bel Air that you can find. Rarely is the top put down on this vehicle, and it is always stored in the up position to maintain its condition. As one of the signature features of this rare automobile, the engine, transmission, and running gear have have been completely rebuilt and thoroughly inspected to make sure all aspects of this vehicle are in top condition. The factory AC has been professionally rebuilt by the well-known specialist and was documented with photos. There is less then 2 miles on this car since completion. The car is road ready but is considered 98% completed. One of the nicest black paint jobs I have ever seen! AC belt needs install and possible some minor finish's like Factory floor mats, trunk mat etc. Discerning enthusiasts and serious collectors of 1950s automobiles should take notice: vehicles like this 1957 Bel Air convertible do not come up for sale often.
