1972 Chevrolet Corvette 1 of 286 LT1 / Air Conditioning Description

Corvette Collectors know what this is. I am going to try and list as much information as I can. I cannot answer a text or emails about this bolt, this plating, this mark, what is this screw color, etc. sorry. I do not have anymore photos I can send.

I do not know what the market price for this car should be,Never had one like this that is this original, guaranteed numbers matching ( Original Drivetrain ), One Owner, Documented, Original Paint still in place, etc.True Survivor 1 of 286 per NCRS.

If you are interested in this super rare Corvette just give me a call please, between 8 am and 8 pm central time @ 251-769-1639, Dennis Lasseter, Jr. Please send any inspector that you would like. I cannot hold this car.

I can put a Buy-It-Now on this auction if we can make a deal before the auction ends.

I purchased this car 3 weeks ago from a dear friend of mine's mother who is the widow of the ORIGINAL OWNER. This is a 1 owner car not counting me. Sold new at Roy Buckner Chevrolet in Bessemer, Al. ( Near Birmingham )He lived in Hueytown where the Nascar "Alabama Gang" lived and raced. The selling dealer logo sticker is still on the back of this car!

Its original owner was going to start a restoration on it about 5 years ago, got sick and could not do it. He had taken the original engine out and put it on an engine stand, that is all he got done. See Photo: I will set the engine back in the car to make it easier to transport for the new buyer. It will not run. We did take the pan off and the motor is just great, turns over easy, 4 bolt mains in place, oil tray is with the car in one of the boxes. I have boxes of the original parts that will go with it. Please look at the photos. A few of the photos are when I first looked at it at her house, hence the dirt and blown out front tires still in place. We did wash the outside, pressure washed the bottom and engine compartment only to kill all the spiders, insect nest, etc. It actually was a clean as the photos show!

It is amazing that any of these cars are still sitting in someone's garage today. I call it a barn find, but actually it was in his garage. I have all the original glove box paperwork, P.O.P. included with a few Alabama tag receipts from the 90's with his nameon them also.

Important Numbers :::

Tank Sticker is still on the tank! I got a scope and looked down by the gas cap, it is there just could not read it. The black painted LT1 stripes on the hood are the originals also and you can still see the imprint where the LT1 decals were in between the stripes, they just wore off.

Look at the photos of the frame and floors please. Frame is perfect, fiberglass floors perfect. No undercoating ever! Has some rust in the front corners of the windshield which is common, that is it! The body is near flawless. One small placebehind the RR tire has been repaired, maybe 3 inches by 2 inches, wheel lip are all nice, all bonding strips in place. Best old body I have ever seen with the original paint still on it.

Original emissions sticker under the hood is LP 350 V8 high performance

I have so many parts that go with this car, the alternator and starter are not the originals, I am sure they wore out in the 80's and were replaced. I have clutch, plate, shielding, original radiator with the original foam still glued to the top which A/C cars had, 2 more Holley carbs, bolts, brackets, original A/C condenser, etc. I know I have many other parts just can't remember them all.Being an ordered car going to Alabama I am not sure if it hadsmog or not. I do not have that. Exhaust manifolds have plugs.

I appreciate you looking at thisvery unique and very rare Corvette LT1 Coupe withFactory equipped Air Conditioning!

Please Note : I have put the engine back in the car as of today. It is sitting bolted to the transmission on new mounts. Just so much easier to transport the car this way! Thanks
