1974 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Type LT
1974 Chevrolet Camaro Description
I'm looking to sell my 1974 Z28 Type LT Camaro. I bought this car in November 2015 and had a great time with it, but I'm ready to move on to something new.
The car was transported from New York to Omaha in December 2015. I store the car indoors but the car definitely spent some time outside over it's 42 years. The car looks good from about 15 yards back, but upon close inspection of the body you will find dings, scrapes, faded paint, etc., but nothing a-typical for a car of this age.
The underside of the car is in fair shape. Surface rust on the frame rails, etc. There is rust in the trunk and what I consider to be a poorly done patch. No daylight showing anywhere, just poorly done. I took photos of everything I could get to and posted them at the link below (just copy the URL into your browser).

Interior is driver quality mostly, except for a tare in the passenger seat cover.
The engine and transmission are not original to the car. Per previous owner, the engine is a 350 from a 1970 Nova. The transmission is a 4-speed Saginaw.
Car runs and shifts well.
Parking brake does not work. Horn does not work. I believe everything else works. The rear brakes feel weak - perhaps it's time to replace/adjust the rear shoes.
This is a non A/C car.
The car is no beauty queen but it is a decent drive. Plus, it is a running and driving 1974 Z28 Type LT. Not an easy car to find at an affordable price. If you are looking for the car as something to restore, in good condition these are worth quite a bit of money.
Thanks!
