This is a nice 54 5 window, the previous owner said it was in the shed I got it from for more than 30 years. The inspection sticker on the window is for 1979-80 . I replaced the front floors with 1/8 inch metal, bent and welded nicely. Still on a 6v system, I rebuilt the starter, replaced water pump, had the radiator pressure and flow tested, new fuel pump, had the generator rebuilt, charges good, cleaned fuel tank the best I could and blew out the lines, I would probably replace tank if going to drive it much, cleaned carb, rebuilt all brakes, new master cylinder, rebuilt wheel cylinders, blew all lines, replaced all rubber hoses, and new shoes all the way around. buffed old school slots that were on it and mounted good used tires.Changed engine oil and all other fluids before starting since it sat so long.Has new battery. starts right up and runs good. truck was painted back in the 70's I guess. I can see where they patched the cab corners,.needs drivers door glass and vent windows are cracked around the latches. seat is in nice shape with no rips. Has nice patina, dings and scratches, buffed out nice other than that. bumpers and grill are straight, rust on the grill is only surface rust. It has the 235 engine, Three speed on the column. New wood bed installed. Vehicle is sold with a Bill of Sale, as Georgia does not require a title on a vehicle this old. Comes with repair manual. |
