What you see before you is a 1972 Corvette in the beautiful and original paint code 989,War Bonnet Yellow. We added a tiny bit of Pearl Flakewhich makes the War Bonnetpaint jump. The pictures cannot possible do the paint the proper justice. The 1972 was the last year for thechrome bumper front and back Stingray making herhighly desirable, make no mistake these cars are getting harder to find, let alone this nice. She has a GM 350 Chevy Engine (was told it was a crate when I bought it)with the Turbo 400 Trans Runs great, no drips anywhere. This unique 1972 Corvette came from the factory highoptioned with:AC, Power Steering, Tilt/Telescopic Steering, and Deluxe Interior. The carpet is brandnew. Two of the tires are brand new and the other two tires have less than 500 miles on them. She has 15 x 8 Rally Wheels, Rocker Molding. Please note, the ground effectswerescrewedonand only bonded on in front and behinddoor. Body was not cut forground effects, so removalshould be fairly easy if wanted. I think she looks amazing.New Bumper and left and right grills, has rear pop out window. She has a big block hood on herright now. I also have the small block hood that comes with the car. The small block hood is primed. For those of you that have restored a corvette before, you already know that one of the hardestand most expensiveendeavors is replacing all of the rubber seals/gaskets. This has been done already. The doors closeand line up perfectly and even though she's not allowed out in the rain, she would havezero leaks should you take her out and get caught in the rain.Car has a clear title insellers name. When I purchased this Corvette prior to her beautiful restoration,I was told it is a Crate motor, so numbers do not match. I believe this to be true as she runsquite strong. Comes with power steering. Speedometer works. Most of the Gauge Cluster works. As you can see in the pictures, the headlights are up.All of the vacuum components are there;however, the lights do not currently go up or downon their own. I will place them in the closedposition prior to shipping. This was a non-issuefor me as I drive her around town on beautiful daysas I'm sure the winning bidder will too.The same is true about the wipers. Components there butnon-op. Same is true aboutthe AC.I have the compressor but it is non-op. I also have the glass t-top set. This set needs work; howeverfor those that prefer the glass over the solid, you get that too.The paint on this car will leave yourbreathless. As nice as she is, please be aware again that this isnot a Barrett-Jackson. There aresome minor paint flaws. On the hood there is some bubbling.Because of the color of the paint it will not showin a picture. Again, you will have to look hard tofind an imperfection; however, I wanted to point this out. |
Now, before you proceed and contemplate bidding, let me share something about myself. I have been on EBay for 17 + years.I have bought cars and sold cars. It is fun and exciting. I have always treated the prospective sellers and buyers with respect. If I bid and win, I pay and communicate in the proper manner. I am not a negative person; however, having served our great country for 22 + years as a United States Marine, please be aware that I have almost zero tolerance for nonsense. If you're looking for easy prey, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a car or for someone else to jerk around. If you'rea buyer looking for a seller with integrity, you have found him. For those of you out there that enjoy rendering advice, I am not looking for any. I have made it 55 years on the planet without your advice. If you send me an email that is ridiculous, it will be deleted. If you send me a good honest email with a legitimate question, I will answer within minutes. I know that if you're an honest buyer you took no offense to what I just wrote. If you're not move on, there's 90,000 + Cars on EBay right now.....

She has new carpet,Rally wheels and 4 clip Beauty rings and center Hubs. Beautifulchrome, Paint is spectacular.. This car is for sale locally and owner reserves the right to close this auction at any time. I encourage potential bidders to either come inspect the car or send a representative to do so.This 1972 Corvette is old AS-IS, no refunds, please bid carefully! What does As-Is mean? It isalegalterm used to disclaimimplied warrantiesfor an item being sold. "As is" denotes that the seller is selling, and the buyer is buying an item in whatever condition it presently exists, and that the buyer is accepting the item "with all faults", whether or not immediately apparent. This means that thebuyer should take the time to examine the item before accepting it, or obtain expert advice prior to purchasing the car.
Initial deposit is PayPal. Remainder due within 3 working days and must be a Cashier Check or cash. This car under no circumstance will be released to you or your shipper until all funds are cleared in my account.
Let me say this one more time, you do not get to be the high bidder, come get the car and then attempt to negotiate. If that were to happen, it is not going to go well......
The Stingray is 44 years old. She is a timeless classic. She is going to become the new pride of someone, why not you? You will not regret adding her to your financial portfolio. God Bless: Dee
