1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Description

This is an excellent SS project for a great price. I originally bought this car to part it out and finish my Impal, The only thing I have done is clean it, I hooked up the battery and everything works radio came on then it shut off. I did not start it, but it turns over ( motor not frozen) After research I later found out that this is a very rare Super Sport that was ordered with an Inline 6. First off the car is ALL original and once I realized it was a survivor, I decided that I could not be the one who started taking it apart, All matching numbers on this SS which needs work but is complete and has alot of potential. Body is in nice shape but needs work to help restore this classic 1964 Impala SS. Clean Indiana title and matching vin and cowl make for a classic and all original restoration. Complete with bucket seats and rear seat interior. The three speed on the column is complete with the SS floor shift console, which is blanked out (very Rare) I do not want to mis-represent this car so I will say there is work that needs to be don, floor pans, fender work, exterior and interior will all need restoration. I am hoping to sell this car on an auction as it is 100% original, Windows all work, front an rear windshield with no cracks and complete SS window trim. Interior door and rear panels have all and very hard to find chrome inserts, badges and reflectors. All original SS trim is here, inside and out. Tires with nice tread and original SS hubcaps. Matching Vin/motor numbers are correct for the Inline 6 ( Hard to believe right ? ) I researched this car extensively under 2000 were made in this format, the center console with the blanked out plate (only 200 were made) It is all here!! As a true 1964 Impala car owner I can tell you that the Interior pieces alone are worth the starting bid price, NO RESERVE. This is My 4th Impala I have bought chasing parts and they are expensive, I wish I would have found this first! Photos were taken after the car was cleaned and washed. Feel free to cal, text or email me with ANY questions. Good luck BiddingRick 219-775-2616. Pay Pal only Payment is due in full at end of auction, Local pick up only from Portage Indiana 46368,
