1986 Chevrolet Camaro Description
Believed to be 1 of 70 Modified by General Motors in May of 1986. No convertibles were manufactured between 83-86. This vehicle was sent to Indiana by GM as a prototype for convertible production in 1987. This modification costs GM $6,000. This vehicle was given a nick name by the customization shop -" 1986 Camaro Z28 Bat-Mobile-Roadster ( Note: the black bat-mobile like humps behind seats as well as bat wings on the hood - visible in car profile photo's )Also, photographed is the seal from Auto form and modification strip dated May 1986. After being modified this car was then shipped to a dealer to be sold out of West Virginia. This is not a gray car. There are Pontiac GT rims presently on the car, however, the original rims come with the car. Car has a 305 4 barrel, automatic transmission, one seater as the convertible takes up backseat and trunk. The car is fully loaded with: electric windows, alarm, factory air, dual exhaust, etc It is a great running car. Speedometer reads 31,000 miles?
