This 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Street is available in our Detroit MI Showroom. The Camaro was introduced in late 67 to compete with the Ford Mustang. Maybe that's why it has become such a great platform to build some of the most serious 1/4 mile cars in history. This 85 is no exception, from the wheelie bars sticking out the back, the full roll cage, or the huge cowl hood upfront, this thing was designed with the nothing but straight-line performance in mind. The motor, which is a 572 cubic inch crate motor has been professionally built and puts out over 700 Horse. Of course with all this power you are going to need a strong transmission and what's better than 400 Turbo Trans with a 4500 stall converter? Well of course a built TH-400 with a reverse manual valve body after all this is a true pro street 1/4 mile car. The Ford 9" rear end was the next thing to be gutted and rebuilt. Using strange 35 spline rear axles and Richmond Pro 4.56 gears the foundation to a killer rear end was started. Of course none of this matters if you can't get any of the power to the pavement. Outback this is taken care of through the classic 4 link with ladder bars has been combined with adjustable coil-overs getting the huge 31 x 18.5 Mickey's hooking up nicely. Of course if you're going to go 130+ MPH in the quarter you better be safe doing it. Having that said a complete roll cage was installed making the car not only stronger but much more rigid. With a set of custom leather seats installed with 5 point harness, this interior just needs one more harness for not only you but your passenger as well. Yes you heard that right, passenger, because how much fun would it be to take the neighborhood kids, or better yet the wife, around the block in this thing. That has to be worth the cost of the car all by itself. Options on this 1985 Pro Street Camaro Include; Seat Belt, Racing Wheels with Performance Tires, power seat, tilt wheel, wheelie bars, fuel cell.
