1968 Chevrolet Camaro Vintage Race Car Project
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Description
Here is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro vintage race car project. This car was built in the 1970's and was raced until the mid 1980's. The engine and transmission was pulled out and the car was put to pasture (literally). This car has an original 1968 Camaro 12 bolt rear end coded BU (see pic). It has a full spool with 5.57 gears and Strange Engineering axles in it. This car has a ladder bar setup with slipper leaf springs and sub frame connectors. It has drum brakes and manual steering. It has a set of aluminum Centerline wheels on it. This was an original stick shift car as the pedals are still hanging under the dash. This car has a solid front sub frame, inner rockers, rear frame rails, cowl, and upper dash. It will need sheet metal repair everywhere else. The hood is a vintage Jenkins style hood but it is damaged and needs repair. This Camaro will need to be restored as it is rough. I have a clear NJ title for this car that's in my name. With the popularity of vintage race cars these days, this one is worth fixing.A non refundable deposit of $500 is required after sale. Car must be picked up within a reasonable amount of time.If you have any questions, please feel free to callme. 609-320-8025 Matt.
