A quick FYI: Hagerty probably tracks the value of collector cars better than anyone else (realized prices from auctions/"the market"). They recently updated their values for the 1998 Camaro SS and gave them a bump up in value. Keep in mind that while they do make adjustments for certain aspects of the car - example: In the case of this car if it had an Automatic transmission the price adjustment would be to deduct 20% from the value. The problem is they don't adjust for things like mileage, provenance, and documentation/paperwork (ex. = window sticker).
If you care to check out their site I have provided a link to the 1998 Camaro SS Page below. They provide production #'s, current and historical value charts (3 and 5 years), value adjustments (mentioned above), and some other interesting information related to the vehicle. I would rate this particular car a strong #2 - you could easily turn this car into a Concours or as I like to say "trailer-queen", but then you basically can't drive the car - no dust or debris whatsoever - where's the fun in that"? Hopefully the link below works - otherwise go to Hagerty DOT COM - it's easy tomaneuver through their site.

I forgot to add this in the initial description:Have both sets of keys with remotes:
I also have the two minor cosmetic changes - the "Air Box" and the "shifting knob" (both mint condition). The shifting knob is black leather and kind of looks like a little baseball. Both can easily be reapplied. Lastly, the license plate front bumper holder from dealer is under the shift knob (obviously unused). On Sep-05-16 at 20:21:40 PDT, seller added the following information:Had someone text me - "does the car have any gravel chips?" - NO-not at all, this is a higher end #2 car. I have been collecting cars for 25+ years. Some people would call it a #1 car, I wouldn't because that is a car that is trailed from show to show (free of dust and dirt)- and then detailed in between. I would rather error on the side of downgrading my car a little bit, that is why I have always gotten positive feedback on ebay and anywhere else.
BTW- I will have the car detailed before it leaves my possession.
