1969 Chevrolet Camaro Description

What's better than a 1969 Chevy Camaro? A restomod that offers the ultimate pony car with fuel-injected LS1 V8 power, new features, and modern technology than when it left the factory, that's what.As this was the final year for the first-generation Camaro, Chevy decided to give it some grown-up sexy curves with a new more angular front end, style lines that ran the entire side of the car, and a shapely rear. And it worked! Highlighting the bodywork on this restomod/restored beauty is the iconic Hugger Orange paint with the kind of meticulous application that provides a clear indication of a hardy investment. All the right elements are in place for an aggressive Camaro, including the blacked-out SS grille, front air dam, Super Scoop induction hood, black SS stripe package, and D80 ducktail spoiler. But then you also start to notice the custom elements like the tinted windows that match the black stripes, and the shaved bumper outriggers so that they have one continuous mirror-like flow. And of course, the Coys wheels grab plenty of attention; especially with their 18/20-inch front/rear staggered appearance that lets everyone know the rear is putting down some serious power.Inside, one of the first things you'll notice is that the houndstooth bucket seats a hallmark of these classics have been restored to factory fresh condition with new materials and padding. But remember this is a restomod, which means there is a lot more inside than just stock Chevy parts. So while the ReteoSound stereo looks correct with it's knob-style appearance, it's actually is a more modern digital tuner with an aux input for your iPod. There's also modern R134a air conditioning running through the stock vents. Your left hand goes on the custom steering wheel, and your right one will love the Lokar shifter. If all of this wasn't already an indication of something special under the hood, the custom gauge cluster with a full set of NVU readouts should be a clear sign. The heart of this beast is an upgraded fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 borrowed from a 5th generation Camaro. But beyond just adding a modern motor, this one has been upgraded with a package that includes a new camshaft, springs, and rods package from Comp Cams. The V8 has been tuned by G-Force Motorsports of Houston to give this car 460 hp at the crank and 370 hp at the rear wheels (we even have the dyno sheet to prove it!) This is truly a professional transplant that correctly houses this modern motor with items like the Dirty Dingo LS1 motor mounts, Autokraft oil pan, as well as an aluminum radiator with electric fan so your restomod can stay cool even with the A/C flowing during traffic. This Camaro shows its wild side by exhaling through long tube headers that feed the H-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust. Making sure the bite matches the bark is the 4L60E four-speed auto from the same donor '02 Camaro, but now it's enhanced with a 2800-3200 stall converter and shift kit. That sends power to the stout Ford 9-inch rear end. But as much as this one is great for big horsepower runs, the front disc brakes, power steering, and overdrive gear on the auto trans all mean you can enjoy driving this every day, too. These words don't come close to telling the whole story on this incredible Camaro, but we're just running out of room. We'll be happy to go over all the details when you call, including the info on the build receipts, maintenance records, and dyno sheet. Then you'll discover that there aren't many things on this Earth that you want more than this performance coupe. Call today!!!
