Here is your chance to own a classic pickup with modern updates. This truck is powered by a 255 h.p. updated 5.7 liter Vortec. No matter if you are hauling a load or towing a trailer, the 330 ft lb's of torque, rebuilt heavy duty 4L60E transmission and full towing package can handle it. More than just a workhorse, it is also very well optioned. Deep tinted glass and air conditioning keep you cool. The 6 way power seat will adjust to virtually any ones liking. Combined with the cruise control, leather wrapped steering wheel and tilt column, long trips aren't a problem. All this is topped off with power windows, locks, side mirrors and a self dimming rear-view with compass. Two sets of keys with remote entry ( so you have a backup ) are included. Safety is also not a concern as this truck is equipped with one piece steel bumpers, steel reinforced side doors, anti-lock brakes, drivers air bag and daytime running lights. Finally, the stock radio has been updated for hands free talking. It is a Pioneer CD RDS receiver with remote control, Bluetooth, is SiriusXM ready, made for iPod and iPhone, with a USB port.

The following is a list of the repairs done and improvements made. All the mechanical work was done by my father who is ASE certified. The machining was done at the same speed shop we use for our race car. The truck was wheeled and pinstriped at my friends collision shop. He is a third generation bump and paint man who has had vehicles at Detroit's COBO show. I have receipts for all the work performed.
Body Exterior:

• Front wheel bearings repacked, new Timkin grease seals
• Coolant sytem flushed and new 50/50 antifreeze
• Air conditioning system vacuumed / recharged with freon enhancer added

As you can see, I have had a lot done. The truck is 100% mechanically sound and greatly improved over stock setup. The engine runs very strong and is much more responsive now. The transmission shifts nice and crisp, and can be set up for firmer shifts if so desired with the Jet programmer. Not only does it track straight while driving, it also brakes straight. The steering is nice and tight and virtually all body roll has been eliminated due to the addition of the rear sway bar. The Goodyear Wranglers were purchased 2014 and have less than 10,000 miles on them. GM sold this truck with a stainless steel exhaust and it is still in great condition. Interestingly, there are still chalk marks on the frame and assembly line stickers in the rear wheel-wells.
I have all the paperwork on the truck from new including the original window sticker.A Chilton's repair manual will also be included.
The Jet programmer that is included plugs into the OBDII port and can not only set up the engine's performance, you can adjust it for the octane you are using. It can also set up the transmission shift points and firmness, adjust your speedometer for tire size, rear gear ratio changes and shut off the mile per hour limiter in the computer if you want.
I have put just over 3,000 miles on the truck since it was finished. As with any 20 year old truck, there are cosmetic issues - the worst of which is the drivers door shown in the last photograph. Even though the truck shows really well, it is not a show truck.I feel it is much better than average condition and does draw a lot of attention. If you have any concerns I would recommend coming to see it in person or having it inspected before bidding. This truck is 50 state emissions compliant.
