One of the nicest Air Ride and Body dropped trucks you will find. This one was professionally built by Little Shop of Horrors in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and was a feature vehicle at the world famous SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Look at the Little ShopFB page and you can see this truck and overall quality of work they do. It shows just over 30,000 miles and we believe this to be actual. They started with a loaded truck with power windows, locks, tilt, cruise and a/c. Air Ride vehicles need periodic maintenance and this one recently had the entire air ride serviced including (4) new bags, (2) new tanks, new water separator and new lines. It uses an engine driven compressor which was also replaced. The compressor is switched so it only engages when needed. It also has a VIAIR electric compressor as a backup. The rear suspension is a 3 link with a narrowed rear end to fit the 24 x 10 Intro Twisted Vista wheels. The entire inside of the bed has been covered with sheet metal and spray liner material. The custom built fuel tank sits behind the rear axle and access to the gas cap is in the bed. Most of these trucks no longer have air conditioning and many do not have heat but this truck has both and they work great. You can see in the pictures of the engine the custom made fender wells that keep the clean look under the hood and keep it dry. The body is finished in matte black, not a real deep black but leaning more to a matte charcoal. It's been hand pinstriped on the hood, tailgate and roof. The taillights have been sprayed with a mattedark tint. The tailgate handle has been moved to the inside and a steel roll pan welded in.The hood is from a HD truck.
This truck drives great. It's got Flowmaster mufflers so it sounds good but not so loud it's obnoxious to drive. The windows are tinted all the way around.
The interior is finished in matte red. The door panels were showing some wear so we pulled them off and had them refinished. The headliner is red velvet. It has a digital pressure gauge under the dash. The button for the compressor is hidden behind the cup holders. The steering wheel is from a 1959 Impala. The air ride is controlled by Accuair. Although it has a pressure gauge it's controlled by sensors at each wheel. The Accuair control has 4 settings. All the way up (number 3) is great for speed bumps, driveways, etc. You can drive on 2 which is pretty low. Like all air ride vehicles you have to be careful with sharp turns when driving low. Number 1 is really low and works good for slow cruising. The last setting is all the way down with the frame laying on the ground and the rockers almost touching.
Everything on this truck works although I do have to occasionally add freon. It's ready to show and drive. It gets driven so it is has just a few small chips and scratches. The truck is located in the Kansas City area so if you are close I encourage you to come by and see it. You won't be disappointed. Please call with any questions. 816-509-7114. Sold as is no warranty. Truck is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction.
