!!!!!!!1996 6.5 Turbo Diesel 4 door Dually!!!!
Clean title in hand
TRUCK BLEW A HEAD GASKET
NOT A BIG DEAL FOR A BACKYARD MECHANIC TO FIX.
This is one hell of a truck, for work or play. I drove it almost 3300 miles, it pulls a 24' enclosed trailer like a dream. TRAILER HAS BEEN SOLD.
NON-SMOKING VEHICLE, before me and not me. (I have COPD, can't tolerate any smoke odors at all.
Paint & body in excellent condition, but does have some stone chips. Clearcoat is NOT all ragged out.
Cloth interior, no rips/tears/excessive wear. Sunvisors show some wear, but still in good condition and have the extensions to eliminate open areas. NO cracks in dash, door panels are in excellent condition. Headliner perfect.
Rear view mirror with compass.
Permanent mounted dvd system with dual headsets, & REMOTE. Factory radio/cd player.
172000 original miles on the 6.5 turbo diesel with the 4L80E transmission, 410 gears.
NEW injector pump, dual PMDs, original on pump and main remote mounted. $1600 installed. I will include a NEW Dorman PMD with lifetime warranty.
NEW fuel filter, housing, and fuel lines. $375 installed
NEW lift pump and oil pressure sending unit (powers the lift pump). $300 installed
NEW starter rebuilt $200 installed.
NEW Crank sensor.
NEW Ignition switch. Has an older model clicker for remote entry. Works well.
NEW high amp Batteries $435 installed
Inverter for 110 power under rear seat.
NEW A/C system, compressor, orifice, dryer flushed etc. $950 installed. 40 degree air in truck.
NEW: MICHELIN 235/75/R16 10 PLY TIRES, ALL 6 $1600. 655 miles on these. Spare is in very very good condition.
Tire tools and jack are stored in factory location behind rear seat. Handy to have, yeah
5" Exhaust system with 8" tip. sounds awesome. Runs great.
Pillar Gauge set: Transmission Temp, EGR temp, Turbo boost pressure.
4 DOORS to haul the camper AND the whole family. Seats 6 VERY comfortably.
Class V receiver Hitch with 7 pin power and brake controller for up to 4 axles. I'll include a 7 to 4 adapter for small or boat trailers.
Power locks, windows, seats, cruise control. Rear sliding window for cap access or ventilation.
Full length fender skirts and running boards. $1900 when installed new. Still in very good condition.
Air wing for hauling trailer/campers $1400 installed.
Rainguards on all 4 doors.
5th wheel rails installed. bring your hitch.
Will include ARE cap for additional $400 (what I paid). Have diamond-plate bedrail and tailgate protectors to include if you don't want the cap.
I usually have power mirrors, and they can be installed easily.... but I really prefer these larger mirrors for hauling the 8 1/2' wide enclosed trailer. With the added convex mirrors, I can see all the way back on both sides while pulling. GREAT!!!! I have a couple of sets of stock power mirrors I'll give ya a deal on a set if you want.
Removed K&N air filter and installed stock air intake system and NEW air filter. Keeps the truck running better by pulling COLD air rather than the hot under-hood air. Makes a difference! You can have the K&N if you want it, but I wouldn't put it back on this truck.
I'm sure I've forgotten some stuff, I'll add as I remember.
If you have read all of this and wish to make a reasonable offer, send it on to me.
I am retiring from hotshot hauling and would like to see this magnificent truck go to someone that will appreciate and properly care for it.
This truck has an easy 300-400k left in it, maybe more. The 2500 that is my DD is turning to 300k in the next few days, runs like it was new. I bought it with 18k on it and have just done regular maintenance and fixed stuff that wore out. I have had probably 35-40 of these 6.5s, had one go to 750k. Did I mention that it would cost $84600 to replace this truck with a new one? It certainly makes sense to get one for 10% of that.
