1971 Corvette Stingray (new 383 motor, lots of upgrades).
1971 Chevrolet Corvette Description
I am selling a 1971 Corvette Stingray. It has a brand new 383 stroker motor installed and has roller cam, rockers, and lifter. Has Edelbrock aluminum heads, new power steering pump, new steering box, new brakes and rotors all the way around. It also has the vintage aftermarket AC/heat system installed. This motor has less than 5 miles on it. It is BRAND NEW. The total cost of the engine was just over $5,000.
The bad/noteworthy: It has custom seats ($900) that make it a tight fit for anyone over 5'9" to drive. The seatbelts haven't been reinstalled (are included though). It has one quirk that we were never able to figure out...if you are accelerating really hard then the headlights start to come up. It has to be a check valve somewhere that needs replaced. The new engine has a different compression and vacuum. Not sure how to fix.
It is located in my shop near North Bend on the Oregon coast.I will not ship, you should come prepared to trailer it or drive it away.History: Belonged to my father in law. He had all the work done and then passed away unexpectedly. Have clear title in hand and will provide a copy of death certificate along with Bill of Sale.
Asking $20,000 obo. Cash or cashiers check only. Clear title in hand. No trades please.
