2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z-71 4x4
You are looking at a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z-71 with 4X4. This is my personal vehicle and not one that has been bought to sell on EBAY. I have owned this Tahoe for a little over 2 years and it has been an absolute joy to own and drive. I took this Tahoe in on trade from a retired military veteran in Southern Indiana. I had a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 that I had listed on EBAY, and he wanted my truck and did not have cash to purchase. I was not looking for a Tahoe at the time, but after driving it for a couple of weeks decided to keep it. It has always been reliable. The transmission went out shortly after the trade, and I had a new transmission installed at All-In-One Automotive in Knoxville. I also had an external transmission cooler installed when the new transmission was installed.
The Tahoe runs drives extremely well, and does not have any leaks that I am aware of. The check engine light is on, and is throwing a code for Knock Sensors. The Knock Sensors were replaced about a year ago, and the code keeps coming back. I had Beaty Chevrolet in Knoxville check it out, and they replaced the computer, and the code will clear for about 100 miles and comes back on. They said that it was some sort of false reading, and that there was nothing else that could be done to keep it from throwing the Knock Sensor code. This does not affect the running or performance of the vehicle. Beaty Chevrolet assured me that there is nothing to worry about with this code since the Knock Sensors and computer has been replaced. I am getting a warning light to Service the Tire Monitor.
If you are looking for a good Chevrolet Tahoe Z-71 4x4 this is the one for you. It is fully loaded with most options, and should provide good service for many years. I do not need assistance selling the Tahoe, and I am not interested in taking any trades. I have 4 vehicles, and need to sell this one to make room in my driveway.
I will be happy to answer any and all questions that you may have about the Tahoe in a timely fashion. I am putting several pictures of the Tahoe on the listing, and if you need a picture of a particular area let me know and I will send it to you. When you look at the pictures there is one area that needs attention. The driver’s side rear quarter panel had some damage from the previous owner that was not done right and is showing a crack in the paint with a small amount of rust. I have not had an estimate on fixing it right, but I do not think it would cost more than $150.00 to repair and re-paint.
