1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe 2-Door 5.7L 30TH Anniversary SS clone
1997 Chevrolet Camaro Description
Very First off this car has a REBUILT TITLE.
I bought this car in 2003 the car had been ran down a guard rail on passenger side(needed front bumper cover, passenger fender, passenger door) Replaced all those pieces and then had painted. Car is a 30th anniversary Z-28 made to a SS clone. The car had about 55,000 miles on it when I bought it now has 61,369. We hardly ever drove car (have to many other toys and set in heated storage for awhile) as it was stored(in 2014) someone broke into storage building and stole all the interior, wheels and couple other items. I then put all brand new interior in car from carpet to seats(oem seat covers that cost 1250.00) to headliner and wheels and tires. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner car then this one rebuilt or not. The car is not all stock it has:
Pa racing tubular k-member
Pa racing tubular heim joint front lower a-arms
1 1/2 drop springs on front
Long tube headers
Flowmaster header back 3" exhaust
Drill and slotted rotors all the way around
Underdrive crank pulley
Moroso cold air intake
Pcm for less tune
Aluminum driveshaft
3:73 posi rear end
tubular lower rear control arms
solid motor mounts
Just earlier this year put in new fuel pump, fuel filter.
Brand new OEM opti-spark not a aftermarket one, new accel 300+ wires and plugs
Brand new stage 2 Monster 4l65E transmission with 2200 stall and large capacity transmission cooler and VERY hard shifts.
Cleaned and undercoated complete underside.
As you can see this is a clean car it does has couple scraps on rear bumper cover and couple small rock chips in nose and passenger taillight has chip in corner of it. This is a good driving, quick car. Tires are every bit half tread. Wheels look great, everything works on car(a/c is cold, power everything). Cruise control DOES NOT WORK, remove traction control set-up and cruise was tied into it. Car no longer has ABS brakes converted to wilwood adjustable propositional valve set-up. This car goes, stops and handles great. We have decided to sell car mostly because it just sits(I started dirt late model racing and takes all my spare time) and as everyone knows a car sitting is about the hardest thing on them. This would be a nice car for someone to enjoy. Any questions ask.
