For Sale by owner and builder. I finished this car 14 years ago. What you see is what you can expect to see for the next 14 and more years. We named the car Baker shortly after he was registered here in South Carolina. He is rock solid and dependable for use every day if that's what you are looking for.
He weighs 2600 lbs. with something north of 350 hp. Muncie 4spd. and GM 342 posi gears in the rear. Bakers motor, trans. rear-end were all rebuilt during the build. He has a 78 Camaro clipunder the front with PS, Disk brakes (non-power) 1.125" sway bar, Griffin radiator, AC, Hurst shifter, holley 600 carb. The rear end housing is also 78 Camaro with "Pose" leaf springs. Gas shocks all the way around.
Baker'sinterior is truly old school. Gauges are Stewart Warner, Dash knobs are 62 Chevy, clutch and brake peddles are 62 Chevy, Steering column is 62 Pontiac, Steering wheel is 59-60 Chevy Impala, The door trim is out of a 57 Pontiac, The front seat is 51 Chevy. Note: The window frames are chromed.
Baker has three complete sets of tires and wheels. One red set with (Michelins) one orange set with ( BF Goodrichs) and one black set with(Uniroyals).
If Baker doesn't sell himself theirs not much more I can say about him. I will add that I have driven him over 9K miles over the past 14 years and enjoyed every minute of our time together.
