1967 Chevrolet Corvette Description

This is my 1967 427/435hp L89 recreation coupe. I started this project with building one of the rarest Corvette's in mind, and build it to drive. In 1967 there were only 16 factory built L89 Corvettes and they bring well into the seven figures. The L89 consists of the factory 427, tri-power carburetors, and factory optioned aluminum heads. I wanted to build one of these rare Corvettes and drive it and enjoy. This car is a beast and a blast to drive. The motor build and carburetors were built by some of the finest experts in this area, and run perfect from wide open throttle to stop light to stop light traffic. Since completion, I've logged less than 1,500 miles on the car. This car is one of the cleanest around and is always a huge attention grabber at the car shows. That coupled with how fun it is to drive, makes it a really unique car and a fantastic opportunity for someone to own and enjoy.
The car itself is an original Marina blue coupe with the bright blue interior. When the interior was redone, I opted to change it to the blue-white interior combination. It is extremely clean, with no rips or tears. All new carpet, seat covers & seat foam, door panels were installed. I also installed Dynamat through out the interior and doors. This makes it very heat resistant in the summer, and very solid.
The paint and body is in perfect condition. Zero cracks, blemishes, or issues. I can honestly tell you its a 10 out of a 10! The body gaps on this car are absolutely perfect on every panel. Scott Lawrence of Phoenix Restorations did all the body work, and he will only do a car if he can make it perfect. This Corvette is a testament to his work.
Along with a complete rebuild of the motor and transmission during the restoration, the entire chassis was rebuilt and replaced. All new brake lines were installed, along with ever suspension component. The trailing arms and rear differential were sent out to Bair's Corvettes for a professional rebuild. The rear-end is a 3:73, and with the Muncie M21 transmission, it makes it for a fantastic driving experience through all gears. All bushings have been replaced and are all in like new condition.
The motor was completely rebuilt and we went with a Comp Cams XE 274 cam. It makes really big power, and we're estimating the power at 525 hp at the crank. The heads are a set of Edlebrock aluminum heads, but I had all off their emblems machined off including their engravings on the front of the heads. I have a set of original L88/89 heads that will come with the car as well. The tri-power intake is an original 1969 intake, and the carburetors are correct reproductions. A lot of work has gone into these carburetors to make them absolutely perfect, with no vacuum leaks. The radiator is a Dewitt's aluminum exact reproduction radiator and I had them paint it black to look original. The car has power brakes, and stops perfectly. The side pipes are Sweet Thunders 3 inch over-sized factory style pipes that allow for extra breathing.
