1968 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Description

1968 Impala SS 327/TH400. This car runs and drives great. Just took it on a 200 mile trip, almost all interstate. Drove 75-80 mph without missing a beat.Mechanical -I believe this is the original 327 Engine, but not sure, with add-on chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The carb is an Edelbrock 4 barrel with Edelbrock performer intake. Engine runs great, starts right up with 2-3 pumps of gas. The transmission is a TH400 shifts good and smooth. Factory A/C car. A/C is not hooked up, but the compressor and lines are in the trunk. There are lots of extras included, in the trunk. Such as A/C components, extra steering wheel, various interior and exterior trim/chrome pieces. Speedometer and odometer work. Lights and signals work. Radio is out of car, but there is one in the trunk, but I believe it is a 1980s Delco.Power steering works smoothly and with ease, just as it should. Power brakes work, car stops well. All windows roll up and down properly. Wipers work properly. Heater/defroster works.Interior-Interior is in good condition. Seats have no rips or tears, nor does the headliner. Good carpet and door panels. B&M shifter. Dome light works, but needs a lens. Gauges light up properly. Everything appears to be there, except the console. Dash has not been cut up.Body-The body needs attention in some spots. The prior owner's son was playing in the car, put it in neutral and rolled into a parked car, damaging the rear passenger quarter. There is some spots where someone got overzealous with the Bondo and has since fallen out. The frame is rock solid. All the floor pans are good, except the driver's, which has been patched. The trunk pan also needs replacing. Rusted through in the usual spots by the rear wheels. Tires are more or less brand new. Missing one center cap for the wheels. All glass is in good condition.
