I'm selling my new Camaro, NOT because I don't like it… I LOVE this car.I've bought and sold over 50 cars in my lifetime. It's what I do, it's my passion in life and I embrace it.I suppose that makes me a certified 'car-o-holic'I'm getting treatment and taking medication, and I'm told there's hope for me…
Anyway, I do love everything about this car, I would keep it if my illness didn't have such financial consequences. Unfortunately, like any illness, there are side-effects.
After reading all about the coming of this car, the new Cadillac ATS platform, the engine, the suspension… I knew I had to experience one. This car is everything the magazines say it is, and more. I ordered this car in August last year, took delivery on December 9th in Scottsdale, AZ.
You will notice this car does not have a sun roof. I ordered it that way, because you lose the exterior detail on the roof which is a critical part of the design in my view. You also lose interior headroom which is not a good thing.
Instead of investing the $1,200.00 in the sun roof, I ordered the 'Magnetic Ride' option, which uses the same set up as the Corvette, shock absorbers than can adapt to whatever setting in milliseconds. 4 selectable driving modes, a far better investment.
You will also notice I ordered it without Navigation. That's because this car supports 'Apple Play', which means it will mirror whatever is on your phone. So if you use your phone for maps, now you can see it on the display and talk to Siri and all the other things you use your phone to do. Very clever.
I ordered this car with the options that mattered the most, 2 SS package, a six speed manual, magnetic ride, dual mode exhaust, performance bright yellow, black front and rear bow ties.
