1969 Camaro RS
This Camaro is an Original Lemans Blue (Code 71) RS. Is started as a barn find that went through a three year restoration to get it to the show quality piece that it is today.

Body is all new sheetmetal including floors.
Rear inner fenderwells were replaced with Detroit Speed mini tubs to accommodate 335-30-18 tires.
The new floor has been undercoated on the exterior
All interior sheetmetal is coveredwith Dynamat and Dynaliner.
The interior has been completely restored to new condition using OER parts. A custom center console was installed. Center console uses factory bezel around shifter.
The Guages were custom made by Speedhut to look correct to the era but with modern internals and GPS speedo.
Tilt Column with Rosewood Wheel
Vintage Air conditioning was installed
Modern Seatbelts were installed
Seat bracket extensions on drivers side to allow extra leg room for myself being 6' tall.
Motor is a GM Performance parts LSX 454 with Callies Crank, Callies Rods, CP Pistons, LS3 Heads with Inconelvalves and valve job by Illmor. Quickfuel 850 Carb. Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake manifold, Melling Oil Pump, Concept One Black Anodized Accessory drive, Behind Bars Billet Black Anodized Valve covers. MSD 6LS Computer Controlled Ignition, Custom Taylor Spark plug Wires hidden behind headers, Ignition coil relocation kit mounted on lower firewall. Kooks Stainless 1-7/8" Long tube headers. Hi-torque low profile starter. The motor was also Spintron tested at Ilmor. It makes 630 Hp naturally aspirated running on 93 Octane. The fuel tank is a Ricks 15 gallon Aluminum tank built for the narrowed stance.
Transmission is a Tremec T-56 Magnum with a McLeod Twin Disk RXT Clutch. The shifter is a short throw that was offset to work in the factory console location. The Driveshaft is Cromoly.
The rearend was built by Strange Engineering. It is Ford 9" with Nodular steel center. The Posi unitis a Strange S-Track with 4:11 and 35 spline axles.
The rear suspension is a Ride Tech setup by Shwartz Performance.
The front suspension rides on the factory subframe using Detroit Speed Upper and Lower control Arms along with QA1 Coil Over conversion and CPPC5 spindle conversion
Custom 3 piece Wheels Built by Formula 43. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport
The steering is factory with an Upgraded CPP Close ratio steering box
The brakes are CPP Big Brake kit with 13.5" disks. Wilwood Black Anodized Billet Master Cylinder, Booster and Proportioning valve.
Exhaust is Stainless Works Full 3" System.
