1978 Chevrolet Camaro Description

1978 Z28 sold new in December 1977 at Hovey-Dallas Chevrolet in Gardena California. Z28 and was in California until at least 9/12/2010. Have copy of the build sheet (included in the pictures), Real Z28, Have lots of original owners documents that go with the Z28. 48,200 miles, 350 matching numbers, power brakes,automatic,power steering, tilt steering column, tires are very good, Air Conditioning does not work, power door locks make noise like they are trying to work but do not lock and unlock,
I have a disc brake rear end from a late 1970`s or early 1980`s Pontiac Trans Am that goes with the sale. This car is nice inside, out and underneath looks very nice and being all original and from California. It has all the original metal on the car and has had only one re-paint in the factory color. The trunk floor is solid and rust free. The front corner of the drivers door looks like it has had a repair done as the paint color is slightly off. It was owned by the original family in California until around 2010 and has always been well cared for. The 2nd owner had the car for about three years. I believe the miles are actual of only 49,200 and have a copy of the California title of the miles up to 2010 stating actual but will be sold with miles exempt because of the age but it does look to be actual.The paint is Silver with the red stripes and the color combo is beautiful. The Z28 has a very nice paint job on it and is very straight down the sides. Overall the Z28 looks great and can be used and enjoyed as is and the owner will have a rare and collectible Z28 with the original documents. The original unmolested 350 motor starts right up and runs strong and drives well.The Z28 has a Turbo 350 transmission with the stock 3.42 posi rear end.The Z28 still has the original space saver spare but is missing the jack. Newer BF Goodrich TA Radials are mounted on the factory rally wheels. Like everything else the interior is very original. It has black seats and black center console. carpet and headliner. As you can see from the build sheet the Z28 is fully loaded. Dash pad has a slight curl due to age and the califorinia heat. Door panels, carpet headliner sun visors, steering wheel look very nice. The Z28 is the way it can from the factory and is a numbers matching car. This is a nice original Z28 and is nice everywhere you look, great for local cruise-in`s and shows.
