1982 Chevrolet Corvette Description

1982 Corvette with Cross Fire Injection. This car is very solid and runs great and is a California car. Mechanically this car is solid, starts right up, idles great, shifts smooths and runs cool all day long. The car passed smog with flying colors the last time it was smogged and has all it's original smog equipment if the car is going to stay in a smog state. The car does not leak any motor oil or transmission fluid. Really mechanically the car is great. All the gauges work and I took a photos of the car running which shows all the gauges working and showing great oil pressure. Tires have lots of tread and the brakes have recently been done. We recently replaced the window motors and window regulators and the window work great. The headlights open and close as they should with no issues. The stereo has been upgraded and there is an amp and sub-woofer mounted in the rear. This can easily be deleted if the new owner wants to go back to stock but it will come with the car. The interior is all original and in pretty good shape. The front leather seats have no rips but do have the normal wrinkle crack lines that are common with original seat. Door panels are good, both electric mirrors work. Power driver seats works. Power antenna work.
Now for the things the car needs to be top notch. The car is nice and straight with no dents or rust in the frame however the front bumper has been bumped a few times and needs to be repainted. The cars paint is a 20 footer and there are areas of the paint that need attention. There are areas at the drivers door where the paint is bubbling, and some random areas around the car that need attention.I tried to show all the paint issues in the pictures. Truthfully it probably needs a new paint job. The car was originally two tone gray and silver and the owner before me painted it all gray. Like I said the car looks decent from 20ft with the front bumper issues standing out more then the rest. I would say the front seat covers should be replaced and the steering wheel could use a re-wrap or a good cleaner or re-dye. The owner before me put a plastic bumper cover over the existing dash so I really don't know what the original dash looks like but the plastic dash cover has started to bubble and should be replaced to look perfect. The AC does not work as the compressor needs to be replaced.The cruise control does not work either. The car does have its original T-Tops and they go on and off flawlessly with no issure. They are painted the color of the car.
Like I said before the car runs and drives great and really needs nothing mechanically. It just needs some cosmetic TLC to be a $15000.00 car. Since this is the last of the Mako shark body style these cars are going up in value and this car is priced right to sell. You will not find a more solid 1982 Corvette at this price.
