1952 CHEVROLET PICKUP
Up for auction today is my super solid 1952 chevy 3100. With 82000 original miles This truck is ready to drive and could be a daily driver. This truck will run 70+ mph thanks to a borg warner r10 overdrive and 56 chevy truck 390 gear rear. It has never been apart and has a really nice green patina that looks super cool! This truck has great floor pans and kick panels although its not completely rust free as it has a few spots that i will show in pics, its one of the most soild originals i have ever come across. This truck has been updated mechanically with tons of new parts that i will list for you below. ENGINE:
THIS TRUCK HAS A 1959 235 ENGINE THAT RUNS LIKE A TOP WITH NEW REMAN CARB, NEW POINTS,ROTOR,CAP,COIL,BALLAST,WIRES,PLUGS,WATERPUMP, AND THERMOSTAT.
BRAKES: ALL NEW STARTING WITH MASTER CYLINDER, SHOES,DRUMS,HOSES,LINES.AND EMERGENCY BRAKE CABLES. TRUCK STOPS NICE.
TRANSMISSION: 3 SPEED ON TREE WITH A BORG WARNER R-10 OVERDRIVE UNIT THAT WORKS AS IT SHOULD. NEW CLUTCH,PRESURE PLATE,THROW OUT BEARING AND RING GEAR INSTALLED ON SURFACED FLYWHEEL.
STEERING: STOCK BOX THAT HAS BEEN LUBED. STEERS GREAT DOES NOT PULL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.
FUEL SYSTEM: NEW TANK WITH NEW 12 VOLT SENDE, NEW FACTORY RUBBER FUEL HOSE TO NEW METAL LINE TO PUMP.
COOLING: RADIATOR IS A FACTORY RE-CORE.(WAS TOLD IT WAS EXPENSIVE TO DO BACK THEN) THAT WAS BOILED OUT AND WORKS GREAT!
REAR END: 1956 CHEVY TRUCK REAR WITH 390 GEAR. SO NOW ITS AN OPEN DRIVELINE. DRIVESHAFT HAS NEW BEARINGS INSTALLED.
CHASSIS: IN GREAT ORIGINAL CONDITION! NEVER BEEN WRECKED.
SUSPENSION:
FRONT HAS HAD LEAF SPRINGS REMOVED FROM PACK TO LOWER WITH NEW U BOLTS. NEW FRONT SHOCKS (CADILLAC SHOCKS)
REAR HAS LEAFS REMOVED AND 3 INCH DROP BLOCKS INSTALLED WITH NEW U BOLTS. REAR SPRINGS HAVE ALL NEW BUSHINGS EYES REPLACED AS WELL AS FLIPPED END TO END ST CENTER WHEEL IN FENDER.
ELECTRICAL:
CONVERTED TO 12 VOLT SYSTEM WITH ALL NEW WIRING HARNESS. NEW REBUILT 12V GENERATOR. ALL BULBS HAVE BEEN CHANGED OVER TO 12 VOLT. ALL GAUGES WORK WITH NEW 12 VOLT FUEL GAUGE. NEW LED TAIL LIGHT IN ORIGINAL HOUSINGS. VINTAGE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH INSTALLED.
INTERIOR
NEW RUBBER MAT ON FLOOR(NICE FROM JIM CARTER TRUCKS). HAS ORIGINAL DOOR PANELS NOT REPOPS IN GREAT SHAPE! HEATER WORKS,HORN WORKS, HAS FACTORY RADIO NOT HOOKED UP SO WORKING CONDITION IS UNKNOWN BUT DIALS DO MOVE AND LOOKS NICE. BENCH SEAT PROFESSIONALLY RECOVERED AND FEELS NICE!
CAB AND DOORS:
THE DOORS HAVE BEEN REDONE WITH ALL NEW RUBBER AND FELT INCLUDING VENT WINDOWS. THE CAB IS SOILD WITH A FEW RUST SPOTS ONE UPPER DRIVERS DOOR PILLAR AND SOME BACK OF CAB REAR WINDOW AREA WILL POST DETAILED PICS. ALL GLASS IS FACTORY AND OVERALL NICE WITH A FEW CHIPS/SCRACHES HERE AND THERE. THERE IS A SUN VISOR INSTALLED AS WELL.
BED: NEW PINE BED WOOD STAINED BLACK WITH NEW METAL STRIPS INSTALLED.
