1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Description

If you are looking for a perfect car to restore, this is it! Body is straight (except for some minor dings) Car has all matching #'s. I have owned this car since 1982 so I know pretty much everything that has been done to it. (I have included pictures of vin #, engine stamp showing matching vin. Also picture of engine stamp showing that it truly is a 325 HP out of a 1969 Chevelle. There was no build sheet under seat but I have not looked elsewhere. There is also a picture of body code so you can check out original color.) There is no rust in trunk or rear window. Floorboards are solid. There is some rust on one rear wheel well. and behind front wheels. (see pictures)Engine (325 HP 4 bolt main) was rebuilt and bored out .0060 all original specs except 375 HP cam was used. Also Transmission (TH 400) was rebuilt at same time and had shift kit installed. Both only have about 5000 miles on them since rebuild. (it has been several years since this was done so some seals leak) Engine runs strong! It could use a new carburetor. Transmission shifts and operates great. Shift kit had to be toned down with an adjustable modulator to keep it from squealing the tires at every shift. Rear differential is 12 bolt limited slip and works well. I have all the chrome trim and emblems (most in good shape) I have original bumper jack, replacement rear side windows (to replace etched ones) I have a couple of different instrument clusters. One has tach, and clock (they worked when pulled from another car. another rear bumper, original intake manifold and distributor. and other misc parts that can go with car.Things that don't work: wipers, horn, a few lights (bulbs I believe) gas sending unit fluctuates,Interior: Carpet is descent, front seats will need foam. rear seat has had cover on it since I bought it. all will need new upholstery, as will dash, door panels, and head liner is coming down. Car will take some work to get to original state but is a Great solid car to start with. I just put bran new Goodyear TA's on rear (2 months ago) but front will need replacing soon.Feel free to ask any question, I want to be totally honest and up front with this sell.
This car holds many memories for me so I only want to sell it to someone who will restore it not someone who will chop it up!!!
