1968 SS BIG BLOCK A/C NOVA
Up for auction is a 1968 ss 396 big block Nova with A/C, power disk brakes, power steering. The Nova is a factory butter nut yellow a/c car.Nova hasBig Block/turbo400/12 bolt. It does not have number matching parts. When I purchased the car it had no motor or trans. It had damage to the front left fender and damage to the rear left upper quarter panel, due to a wall falling onto the car. I did replace the fender with a used GM 1968 fender, I only pulled dent out of quarter and replaced quarter window, other than that the body is as it came to me, “PURPLE/GRAY"(THIS CAR IS A RUNNING/DRIVING PROJECT CAR)I am selling car due to joband resident change.I have more than $15,000.00 in the car and parts and have more the $25000.00 in labor, I am going to try to list all the things done, It would be best to view the car before buying. All thethings done are usually the things over looked, and they cost the most to have done! With this one it dose not looknearly as good as it preforms.I can be contacted thru EBay Messaging. Motor, 468 c, 4 bolt main, with cradle on the main blocks, speed pro 10.8 to 1 pistons, comp rod, cast steel un-cut crank, Heads are 990 cast steel GM with 2.190 intake 1.880 exhaust stainless steel valves, CompCam LS6 cam, springs, retainers, push rods(.540 lift)roller rockers, GM aluminum intake, 850 cfm double pumper, Aftermarketdistributor and 6al box, MSD wires. All deep groovepulleys, power steerin, a/c, short water pump and alt. are set as up as they would be from the factor 396ci HP motor in 1968. Procomp 2 1/8" headers, custom dull 2 1/2" exhaust out the back with electronic 3" dumps off the collectors(under the middle of car)
Transmission Turbo 40, 30,000 GV, TCI clutche, TCI 34 element sprag, TCI shift Kit, Huges torque converter, B&M V-gate shifter
Vendors Divorce case Over-Drive with 1350 yokes(This unit is new and good for 1200 hp Cost on unit is $3500.00 alone without install)(1 ton)3"Drive shafts(2 Drive shafts)1350 U-joints.The Vendors is mounted to a cradle witch is mounted to sub frame and the rear suspension. This also act as sub-frame connectors and can be removed. (Not welded to car, It is its own bolt in Unit that can be removed andstock drive shaft put in its place)
Brakes, GM Power disk brakes front and back with emergence brake, drill & slotted rotors
Rear end 12 Bolt GM, T/A girdle, 3.31 pos, Moser C-clip eliminators, Summit racing axles, 1350 input yoke
Suspension, Air Ride, on board air ride to the rear (the rear can be raised and lowered from the drivers set)Front and rear sway bars, Front 1 1/8", Rear 7/8" dia., Tork link bars with chrome mallory ends.(new type of slapper bar)
Under side of car and inside doors, fenders, trunk, engine bay,has been cleaned, shot blasted and painted with POR15.
Glass, ALL glass has been remove, All bad metal has been replaced,All seals replaced, All glass is factor tented glass.
Door locks, Electronic door locks (key pad)
A/C box is factory big block bo, the rest is a Classic Air up/date 134A,pump so on, It is missing the original a/c duckhose under dash.(very hard to findfor a 68)

The Nova runs & drives great, The over-drive makes high miles "effortlessly" I hate to sell this car! and take a hit onunfinished car, This is a great deal for someone to get into at a very reasonable cost,(reserve leaves "meat on bone")With a good body work and paint, It would easily sell in the high 30's.I'm sureI missed some things, again please veiw Nova befor buying!!Please be warned THIS CAR HAS A LOT OF POWER, IT WILL BURN THE TIRES OFF WITH EASE, It is not for the light hearted!!!Thanks for LOOKING!
