1978 Chevrolet Corvette Description

This 1978 Corvette was in an East Coast Collection, and I stumbled on it about 5 years ago. When I acquired it, it had 4300 original miles on it and everything was as it should be. I spent about $10,000 updating the Air Conditioning, changing out seals, gaskets, shocks, and other rubber items which had decayed sitting inside a climate controlled warehouse for all that time.
We have an L-48 with a 4 speed manual and all the performance bells and whistlesfrom the day. The torque is unreal.
The interior was a special order. It is Mahogany. Very classy. A deep reddish brown.
Has that special back window louver that makes it look even meaner than it is.
The exterior has a few small dings that are inconsequential. I was told the paint was original but there have been a few touch ups.
You could eat off the bottom. Spare Tire Cover is there, along with original spare.
Drivers Door has oil change sticker from back in the day. The previous owner drove it about 100 miles a year.
It features a new Magnaflow exhaust. Theoriginals had rusted out over the years from sitting unused.
I removed the 8 track player but kept it, it will go with the car. I installed an original CB Radio in its place.
I added a smoke grey moon roof, to give me choices between the T-Tops or the Moon Roof depending on the season.
I have had a few problems with the climate control, so I bought a new one which will also go with the car.
This Corvette is as close to a new car as you will ever get.

I also have all the original documentation and provenance.
You will win every car show. You could take this to the real classic car auctions and it would sell north of $50K.
I am firm on the price.
