1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Description

1971 Chevelle SS, It's a true small block SS car Not a clone. I’m the second owner and have a copy of the original title. Original rebuilt 350 engine, block number matches the VIN number. It’s mostly stock with aluminum Holley heads, Holley intake and Holley carb. (I Do Not have the original heads, intake, carb, air cleaner or valve covers for the engine) Rebuilt automatic 350 transmission,bench seat, shifter on the column. It has, P/S, P/B, (front disk) A/C (not charged due to damaged pipe see pictures but all components are there) 12 bolt rear end with sway bar.Also has a factory rear defog option but currently not working. It has headers with 2.5” exhaust and flowmaster mufflers. Also has a new fuel tank and tires. Mechanically the car runs very good and is drivable; I drive it regularly.

The car is drivablebut really needs a complete restoration with the exception of engine and Transmission. I had intentions of restoring the car but I’m not a body man and it’s just more of a project than I have the skill or time for. The car wasrepainted but not prepped well. The car needs body work. The rear of the frame rails are rusted, needs a trunk pan, floors pans have been patched but not done correctly. Paint is bubbling in random locations all over the car. Bumpers need re-chromed. The interior also needs work. The headliner is partially missing, carpet looks original and needs to be replaced, dash is cracked. Rear seat looks original no rips but has stains from what looks like tires being stored there. The front door panels have been replaced and I believe the front seat has been recovered at some point because it’s in very good condition. I have the original SS fender emblems but the mounting posts are damageand were not but back on the carafter the repaint.
