I am selling my 1998 Chevy Cavalier. It is 4 door and forest green in color, as the picture shows. It has a gray cloth interior that is in perfect condition.

TURNING CIRCLE 35.6 ft. Now, I just put a brand new battery in this car, so everything is good on that end. However, upon doing so, the anti-theft system locked the engine from turning over and the car will not start. I have been told from mechanics that it is only a matter of a simple code (or combination of buttons to push) to unlock it, but I do not know what that is, but I figure someone out there probably does know how to unlock it and will not be deterred by that fact alone. Otherwise, the car is in perfect working condition. I only drove it 2 months, but due to license issues, I just have no need for it,but I had no problems with it at all during that time. I purchased this car just a few months ago for about $1600. I paid cash, but the finance price they wanted was $3,600. I'm not asking anywhere near that, especially due to the inconvenience of having to contact the dealer to figure out what the code is to get the car to start. I am starting bidding at $750 and setting a Buy it Now price of $1,300. I'm trying to think of what else I can say, cause I understand that buying a car is not just your average eBay purchase. As far as how we will handle transport and getting the car to you... well, I guess we'll just have to talk about that one. I am willing to negotiate on this one. If you are close to me, I will pay for towing. If it is across the country, maybe we can split it? Like I said, I'm open on this one and we will discuss it either before or after the sale. If there is a problem of any sort, I am also open to giving a refund or reimbursement, however the cost of bringing the car back to me would be on you, unless there is something ridiculously wrong that I failed to mention, but I couldn't imagine that happening because the car worked perfect for me.
