Vehicle History
This chevelle was originally purchased 8/14/1970 in Pacific palisades CA. Original protecto plate, owners manual, and service records are included which document the original owner until 1996. Documentation stops in the early 2000’s after the second owner purchased the car. I am the third owner and bought the car with under 65,000 original miles. This car has lived its whole life in the Los Angeles area and always been garaged. Original rust free sheet metal made this the perfect candidate for a restoration.
Body and Paint
Beautiful two stage Dupont jet black base coat clear coat. The body was taken down to bare metal, epoxy primered, and hand blocked. Multiple layers of clear coat were applied before color sanding and buffing to provide that mirror like shine. Front and rear bumpers as well as headlight buckets were powder coated gloss black.
Drive Train
Custom pro built 454 by Phoenix Racing Engines, 515 HP with 500 TQ on the dyno. Comp cams Hydraulic roller camshaft (size 585), speed pro dome pistons, GM crank, ARP rods, aluminum heads (2.25 intake, 1.88 exhaust), aluminum rockers, molly pushrods, edelbrock air gap intake, holley 850 carb. Engine was professionally broken in and tuned. Backed by a pro built turbo 350 and 2500 stall converter.
Pro built 10 bolt with 30 spline axles and 3.31 posi, Hotchkis suspension, tubular upper and lower control arms, lowering springs, front and rear sway bar. Power steering, with 4 wheel power disk brakes, 4 piston 12” rotors up front with, 4 piston 13” rotors in the rear. CVR electric vacuum pump installed to maintain constant vacuum pressure to the brakes.
Oversized aluminum radiator with electric fan, braided fuel lines with black anodized AN fittings, holley fuel pressure regulator and electric fuel pump with cut off switch. And much more...
Interior
brand new interior from Original Parts Group (opgi), front buckets, rear bench, carpet, underlayment, complete brand new dash bezel with correct chrome accents not the cheap bezel with silver paint, dakota digital VHX gauges, dash pad, and 3 spoke steering wheel, door panels, interior quarter panels, headliner, everything in the interior is brand new.
exhaust
Equal length long tube headers flow into a full 3” exhaust with X pipe and out magnaflow mufflers before dumping in front of the rear axle. This provides for that amazing thump and muscle car rumble.

18/20” BG rodworks old school wheels blacked out and wrapped with BFG G force sport comp 2 tires front and back

This is not your average run of the mill chevelle being sold on ebay.
