1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

Purchased 1953 Chevy ½ ton longbed pickup truck in 4/2011 - San Diego, CA. Selling for $9,000 OBO. AS IS Condition

Information received when I purchased: Engine from 1975 Camaro 350 - 8 cylinder, automatic transmission, dark green metal flake paint - owner had it for 4 years. VIN H53BO14711. Only paperwork received was alignment work with mileage showing 53,047(?): replaced front king pins, miscellaneous work ($1539) 9/2010

I have paperwork to support info to follow. Serviced regularly.

Did an initial complete inspection - Drums repair, new master cylinder, new brake shoes, steering work, replaced wheel cylinders, rear axel seals, headlight switch, shocks, etc ($2,200) 4/2011

Installed 5 new Hankook black tires, throttle pedal and assembly, centered steering wheel, new door latches, etc. ($1191) 7/2011

Miscellaneous work with the reconstruction of doors ($2400) 7/2011

Replaced front leaf springs, oil and filter change, clean plugs, new cap and rotor, repair oil leak, checked brakes ($655) 10/2016

Runs good, but suggested engine needs ($600 quote) - Headers and gaskets, possible valve seals (drivers side), spark plugs at next service.

Other projects: fix cab rusted corners, gas gauge, engine alignment correction, interior and exterior paint job (show level), body work for few miscellaneous holes/dents/battle wounds, install a radio.
